Despite being a fan of St Kilda in general, I've never actually ventured into Luna Park. I'd be lying if I said it was high on my list of "must-do" activities before I leave in June, but it does present some pretty nice photo opportunities. In hindsight, I should have been patient and waited until there was a coaster full of excited, happy people at the top of the ride, but the colours were nice enough to make this a keeper for me.
I agree Alan... It's a keeper. Great colours. I wonder why it's called "Luna Park"?
ReplyDeleteLike it as it is Alan. Colours are great.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteColours look like puddling. Was it sunset?
ReplyDeleteVery nice colours, if you don't complete your list remember it's always another good reason to come back. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNice shot Alan.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful twilight colours!
ReplyDeleteLooks more graphic without people and just the lovely colours!
ReplyDeleteSo did you go for a spin? I'm a chicken on those things...but it made for a beautiful capture! Thanks for the flip flops. I wore them yesterday:)
ReplyDeleteAmazing light and colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind comments, all.
ReplyDeleteJoe - It was named after the Coney Island version. I did some research! See http://www.holisticpage.com.au/LunaPark,ConeyIsland_FredericPMiller|9786134143295
Julie - yes, taken at sunset. Must admit, I have no idea what "puddling" is?
Dawn - glad to see them go to a good home!:-)
